Are you a qualified copywriter?

The copywriting industry isn’t regulated but I have assessed copywriting qualifications from the Institute of Data and Marketing (the IDM), and HarvardX (Harvard University’s Online arm). I’m a member of the Procopywriters network and have more than 14 years of experience writing copy for clients who keep coming back. 

How do you charge for your work?

For all of my content development projects, I charge a set project fee. This means that you know exactly what you will be paying, and exactly what you can expect for that fee. I’ll even include a round of revisions within the project rate, so you can be confident you’re getting exactly what you wanted for the fee you were quoted. 

Do you use AI to write your blogs?

There are many copywriters out there purporting to write content but leaving the hard graft to generative AI. I won’t ever do this.

I’ve spent time learning about generative AI and how it can be used in content creation and I’ve also quite quickly realised that you can’t use it to create good content. At best, you may be able to use it to create content that’s the same as every one else’s – but where’s the fun in that ? Samey content won’t get you ahead of the competition. Plus, there’s a whole raft of risks that come with using generative AI to grow your brand. Do you ever change your set project fee?

The set project fee for my SEO freelance copywriting work is just that – the fee set for the work you requested. However, should you change the scope of the project part way through, I reserve the right to revise the fee. However, any changes to the cost will be raised with you before the work is carried out, so you’ll still know exactly where you stand with your final fee.
